Practices and primary care networks are looking at ways to increase their resilience and protect the clinical capacity.
To do this new ways of working are being considered which include working with other parties, such as federations, trusts or developing their own company that effectively becomes a shared service centre to provide support needed. In other cases where practices may be struggling to recruit or have poor CQC ratings support can be provided to find a way forward.
