Support to an integrated care board primary care team
Case study
An integrated care board (ICB) primary care team had requested hands on capacity to provide guidance and subject matter expertise to the team, support to identify development needs, update priorities and risk registers as well as standard procedures. The support was required following ICB restructuring leading to loss of expertise within the team. PCC provided dedicated support for 17 days over six months to mentor and work with the new team delivering the outcomes above.
Feedback included “everyone I’ve spoken with has asked me to pass on their sincere thanks, not only for all the work you’ve done but also for the way you’ve gone about it. They’ve highlighted your exceptional level of knowledge and how effectively you’ve adapted this to support their specific queries and work areas, providing real clarity and practical options”.
