Following the announcement that the government has earmarked specific funding of £102 million for primary care estates, labelled as the utilisation and modernisation fund, the allocation process has commenced with a list of schemes submitted to NHS England regional teams. All schemes will need to be supported by the production of a project initiation document (PID) / business case in line with the 2024 premises costs directions.
