We are seeing increasing numbers of GP practices working at scale. Whether that is informal collaboration, formal mergers, joining larger practice groupings, or in other ways, including through primary care networks.
For success we have found it is important to have a sound business proposal, shared objectives, aims and vision, and have worked through the pros and cons of different ways of working.
