Finance
Understanding a practice’s or PCN’s financial position and having financial sustainability are key to ensuring the resilience of general practice. Through good financial governance, practices and PCNs are better placed to:
- Operate more effectively
- Identify and free up resources
- Transform services
- Support the delivery of high-quality care.
PCC has supported PCNs across the country to develop their financial resilience and we do this by offering a range of interventions dependent on their needs.
- Independent financial reviews to identify improvements in the way income and expenditure are dealt with.
- Hands on support to maximise delivery against the PCN directed enhanced service and impact and investment fund through for example, improved data searches and reconciliation.
- Training to understand more about how the quality outcomes framework (QOF) is administered, and how to monitor, review and appeal your submissions.
