Strategic commissioning and integrated care delivery: Commissioners and providers delivering joined up care in a neighbourhood – Leadership for system collaboration

As the NHS implements its 10-Year Health Plan, a fundamental transformation is underway in how care is commissioned and delivered. Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) are evolving into strategic commissioners, with a renewed focus on population health, prevention, and value-based outcomes. To realise this vision of strategic commissioning, commissioners, providers and others will need to understand the vision and how they can navigate this change.

PCC’s new two session leadership programme focusses on the following:

• The need to lead with certainty through uncertainty as new ways of working are introduced
• Embedding cultural change
• How to feel empowered to “lead, listen and innovate rather than look upwards for instruction”.

If you’re a leader looking to feel more confident and better equipped for the challenges ahead, this short programme aims to provide you with theory, space for discussion and the opportunity to network with others. Less about the ‘what’ and more about the ‘how’, we’ll explore adaptive behaviours and how to apply emotionally intelligent leadership to the potential complexities of the new world.

This two session programme will be led by Helen Ellis, Head of Development, PCC.

The sessions can be booked as individual courses, or as a whole programme. Where all four courses are booked by the same delegate a discount of £200 or 2 credits will be applied.
