Primary care finance network

The next Primary care finance network is scheduled for Thursday 24 September 2026. This network is available to finance teams in integrated care boards who have an annual support contract with PCC.

This session will provide an opportunity to discuss the evolving financial landscape for primary care, including system financial pressures, the continued shift towards out-of-hospital care, and the implications of multi-year funding arrangements and tighter financial controls across systems. We will also explore current priorities such as cost improvement pressures and supporting delivery of national access and recovery ambitions within constrained resources.

There will also be time to discuss day-to-day challenges, concerns and operational aspects of primary care finance, including in-year financial management, contract monitoring, and 2026/27 financial sustainability.

The session will be run on MS Teams and will be for up to two hours starting at 13.30.

Please note that your organisation will need to have a PCC annual contract that includes helpdesk and networking surgery sessions to book a place.
