NHS dentistry is a vital primary care service, and commissioners play an essential role in ensuring that effective contractual arrangements are in place to deliver accessible, high-quality care for patients. During the lifetime of a contract, there may be occasions where commissioners need to take formal contractual action.

This training course, delivered over two sessions, provides a detailed overview of the different types of contract notices. It explores when these notices may be used and the processes that must be followed to issue them correctly and manage them effectively.

The agenda includes:

• Breach notices
• Remedial notices
• Termination notices
• Contract sanction notices
• Serving of notices

The session will be delivered by one of our dental experts. Delegates will benefit most through active participation, including engaging in discussions, asking questions, taking part in group activities, and using interactive tools. There will also be opportunities to share experiences, discuss current challenges, and explore practical solutions with both the facilitator and fellow participants.

This session is for commissioners and those working on their behalf.

By the end of the course, delegates will be able to confidently deal with the issuing and management of contract notices.
