Primary care dental and eye care contracts – managing disputes

NHS dentistry and eye care are important primary care services, and their high profile means it is important that commissioners make the contractual arrangements so services can be made available to patients and appropriately manage them.

At times there will be disputes between the commissioner and the contractor on various matters.

This virtual training session will look at the dispute process, what this includes and the processes the commissioners will need to follow.

The agenda covers:

• Informal processes
• Local dispute resolution
• NHS dispute resolution
• Pre contract disputes.

The training course will be led by one of our commissioning experts. Delegates will be able to participate in group exercises, via interactive tools, take the opportunities to discuss current issues and seek solutions with our expert and each other.

This session is for commissioners and those working on their behalf.

Following attendance on the course, the delegates will be able to confidently manage situations when disputes arise.
