Introduction to the Primary Care Network (PCN) Directed Enhanced Service (DES)

Primary care networks (PCNs) have been an important part of the primary care landscape since 2019. Since then, the PCN DES has been regularly updated and expanded in response to the challenges of primary medical care provision.

This three-hour virtual event introduces the PCN DES and will cover:

• Context and background
• Service specification
• Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS), Investment & Impact Fund (IIF) and Capacity and Access Payments
• Look to the future of PCNs.

The course is aimed at primary care commissioners as well as GPs, practice managers and PCN staff who want to understand more about the PCN DES.

This session is delivered by PCC’s expert adviser team.
