The NHS primary care estates Utilisation and Modernisation Fund (UMF) continues to provide a valuable opportunity to improve, adapt and maximise the use of primary care premises to support modern models of care. As integrated care boards (ICBs) progress their local prioritisation processes and develop schemes for funding consideration during 2026/27, a robust business care / project initiation document (PID) remains a critical component of a successful application.

This 2.5-hour online workshop provides practical guidance on developing a compelling document that clearly articulates the case for change, demonstrates strategic alignment with health priorities, and evidences the benefits that investment will deliver for patients, staff and local communities.

The session combines expert insight, practical advice and interactive discussion to help delegates understand what makes a strong submission and how to avoid common pitfalls.

This course is ideal for GP practices, primary care networks (PCNs), ICB primary care teams and other stakeholders involved in developing primary care estate improvement proposals and funding applications.
