Commissioners need to seek funding to enable appropriate development of services to support new developments and serve the population, whether that is by working with councils to secure Section 106 monies, or community infrastructure levies (CIL) or by supporting practices to access funding from the Primary Care Utilisation and Modernisation fund.
Essential to support receipt of money from the Primary Care Utilisation and Modernisation fund will be the development of strong project initiation documents (PIDs) and understanding of the grants agreement and legal charge process.
For more information on other support on premises for practices, including space utilisation reviews, visit https://pcc-cic.org.uk/premises-practices/.
